Description
El Museo del Banco de Vida "Arca de los Sapos" del Centro Jambatu es un programa de manejo ex situ que incluye anfibios preservados con fines de investigación y conservación.
En el Museo del Arca de los Sapos se almacenan: Animales enteros en etanol 75%, Huevos y renacuajos en formol 10%, Esqueletos en glicerina, Tejidos en etanol 99% (criopreservados), Extractos moleculares liofilizados de pieles.
El material almacenado en el Museo del Centro Jambatu está disponible para uso científico por parte de investigadores nacionales y extranjeros.
